Out of six major categories we won 2 awards (cups). best Fair sweet (cinnamon rolls) and Best fair plate. (our new Monte Cristo sandwich) We also won 3 ribbons for: Best sausage/dog Best sandwich Best baked item So I think we can thank your mix recipe for 3 of the 5 awards! We have a new improved yeast so it is included in the mix. The time needed to raise the dough is less. Water should feel warm but not hot, 105 degrees. If you have a stiff dough, add a tablespoon of water. Knead in. Form a ball, turn onto lightly floured board and knead to a smooth elastic dough. Punch a few times. Slam it on the board. (It is best to do this when there isn’t any flour on the board.)
