On July 17, 2010 at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa,CA.

Out of six major categories we won 2 awards (cups). best Fair sweet
(cinnamon rolls) and Best fair plate. (our new  Monte Cristo sandwich)

We also won 3 ribbons for:
Best sausage/dog
Best sandwich
Best baked item

So I think we can thank your mix recipe for 3 of the 5 awards!

Being an Entrepreneur Can Be Fun

You’re starting something new, doing things you’ve never done, making decisions; it’s exciting.

However, there are a few drawbacks. If there has to be wiring you’ll have to learn how to do that wiring. Perhaps plumbing abilities were never on your to do list, but if there must be plumbing you’ll learn.
Early on my company switched from manufacturing and wholesale to manufacturing and retailing because earning a living at the latter was possible but then I had a few more tasks to learn.

Whacking Dough is Good for the Psyche (or) Helpful Hints

Old West Cinnamon Roll Mix comes in a 2 pound bag.  We have a new improved yeast so it is included in the mix.   The time needed to raise the dough is less.  

Water should feel warm but not hot, 105 degrees.  If you have a stiff dough, add a tablespoon of water.  Knead in.

Form a ball, turn onto lightly floured board and knead to a smooth elastic dough.  Punch a few times.  Slam it on the board.  (It is best to do this when there isn’t any flour on the board.)  This removes air and lengthens
